We were approached by our client having recently moved into a new build home in Bedfordshire. As with so many new builds the garden consisted of little more than a lawn and a fence.
Our brief was to create a garden rich in planting and colour to increase biodiversity whilst creating a link with the surrounding rural context of the site.
Our clients were also keen to explore supplementary seating areas close to the ancient Oak in the corner of the garden for relaxing and entertaining.
Since completion in 2022 our garden team have tended the garden on a fortnightly basis which has ensure the planting has developed as intended. Overall both our client as us are pleased with outcome and transformation. The is no reason why new build gardens should be boring this showcases how quickly a garden can establish with the correct design and implementation.
The outcome is a garden rich in colour, texture and wildlife.
